Sega my way - Emmanuel Marie

I was born in Seychelles, born into Sega and now, I've come to making Sega My Way. It is natural in way that Sega My Way sould've come a good 19 years after I cut my first album, Zenn Militan Seselwa, along with some other upcoming young artistes when I was just 16. Sega was there to begin with. Rich. Evolved. Explored. But I had to come of age as a musician to be able to absorb the rythms, the melodies and the nuances of other exotic forms of music - jazz, reggae, rock and soul and be able to blend it with sega. To try and evolve a new music idiom, which in the absence of a popular expression, I call Sega My Way. My first CD and my fifth album. I hope you like it.
I dedicate this album to my daughter, Emmaline.
